The strategy shall have as a major goal the reduction of women's health risks, particularly those resulting from complications of pregnancy and childbirth as well as gender- based violence. It shall remove all barriers interfering with women's access to health services and information and protect women from the impact of cultural practices and norms that deny them of their full rights to health. It shall include interventions aimed at the prevention and treatment of diseases affecting women, as well as policies to provide and enable cess to a full range of high quality and affordable health care servicesS. A. Comprehensive Health Services Access to the following programs and services shall be ensured: 1. Maternal care to include pre-natal services, delivery and post-natal services to address pregnancy and infant health and nutrition; 2. Promotion of breastfeeding and proper nutrition for lactating mothers; 3. Responsible, ethical, legal, safe, and effective methods of family planning; 4. Family and State collaboration in youth sexuality education and health services without prejudice to the primary right and duty of parents to educate their children; 5. Prevention and management of reproductive tract infections, including Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS); 6. Prevention and management of reproductive tract cancers such as breast and cervical cancers, and other 8ynecological conditions and disorders; 7.
