                 Meetings held with Secretary Minorities Affairs Department to solve the issues of minorities and safeguard rights of minorities, especially with reference to the implementation of the 5% minorities quota in Balochistan. Meetings with Ombudsperson Balochistan for protection of women at the workplace to develop a referral mechanism to deal with these cases of harassment. Meeting with Secretary Law Government of Balochistan regarding the amendment of Civil Services Pension Rules 1989. Coordinator’s meeting with Director PDMA regarding relief work relating to the floods in Balochistan. Meeting with DIG Prisoners Balochistan Police. Meeting held with in-charge Child Protection Unit, Quetta, established under Balochistan Child Protection Act 2016. Meeting with Minister Minorities Affairs. Coordination meetings with Member Balochistan Commission on the Status of Women. Meeting held with Director Women Development Department regarding referral mechanism to resolve gender-based violence cases through the Gender Desk. Meetings held with Superintendent Dar-ul-Aman regarding the betterment of the Dar-ulAman. Meeting with Chief Justice of Balochistan regarding speedy trial of juvenile prisoners. Meeting with Secretary Information to discuss challenges faced by journalists in Balochistan. Meeting with Project Officer UNDP, Ms. Sadiqa Sultan, to develop a work plan for 2022. Follow up meeting was held with UNDP social inclusion expert, Mr. Yann. Representatives from UN Women visited Member Balochistan at NCHR’s Regional Office Quetta on 14 March, 2022 to discuss women’s’ issues including harassment at the workplace especially educational institutions, and the training and sensitisation of police regarding women. Member Balochistan met with ILO Senior Program Officer Mr. Sagheer Bukhari and ILO focal person for Balochistan to discuss mechanisms of protection and safety of coal mine workers and the impact of this hazardous work on their families. The UNDP team from Islamabad headed by Mr. Salman Asif held a meeting with Member Balochistan NCHR on 1st June 2022 with regard to vulnerable communities and access to justice. Head of UN Women Sub-Office Ms. Ayesha Wadood held a meeting on 3rd June 2022 with Member Balochistan. Ms. Wadood briefed Member Balochistan about the ongoing activities of UN Women in Balochistan. Both the institutions Heads showed their deep concern regarding cases of harassment in universities of Balochistan. 72
