HUMAN RIGHTS MODULE FOR
SECONDARY SCHOOL
Implementation steps
1. Divide the students into small groups of 5.
2. Instruct the students to read and fully understand the articles provided before trying
to find the hidden words.
3. Remind the students that each article contains one or two hidden words that have
to be identified. Nevertheless, to assist the students, the words to look for are actually
highlighted in capital letters and in red.
4. Give a maximum of one hour for each group to find the hidden words.
5. Ask the groups to exchange their puzzle sheets to be checked.
6. Then provide the answers to the entire class and check the marks of the groups.
Group discussion and summary:
At the end of the activity, give the students room to reflect on the hidden words that they
encountered. The teacher shares additional information and specific facts regarding
human rights.
