Meeting with the Provincial Ombudsman of Protection against Harassment of Women at Workplace to coordinate and build a working partnership Meeting with the Ministry of Human Education & Higher Education Commission Clifton on the subject of Single National Curriculum for Hindu Community. Participated in a meeting on the subject of legal grants for needy persons in Sindh. HR department, SHRC and SCSW were present. Participated in a Meeting Organized by the Minority Affairs Department and The Knowledge Forum. The title of the meeting was "Minority Rights in Sindh: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities". NCHR and CSOs scheduled a meeting with Mr. Ismail Rahoo Minister Environment, Climate Change & Coastal Development Department on the subject of composition of the Council Body. Another agenda point was the annual report from SEPA and public awareness in the community before the launching the project. NCHR Regional Office organised a meeting with Joint Action Committee (JAC) on the effects of IMF and inflation on Pakistani people. Dr. Sabir Sb, renowned economist, lectured about what types of human rights challenges will be faced in the future. Member Sindh was invited as a guest speaker by The Knowledge Forum (TKF) to a meeting regarding renewable energy and climate change with the Secretary and other officers of the Energy Department, Government of Sindh, at Hotel Avari Towers. Mr. Abu Bakar Ahmed Madni, Secretary of Energy Department gave a detailed briefing on Energy Department's measures for energy sufficiency in the province. Sindh Coordinator visited Special Assistant CM Veerji Kolhi’s Office and discussed the first phase of local elections in Sindh Meeting with Mr. Nusrat Maghan, Chief Information Commissioner Sindh at Regional Office Sindh. He praised and thanked NCHR Member Sindh for her efforts to reconstitute the information commission. Member Sindh and coordinator visited the Sindh Human Rights Commission, met with the Chairperson, and discussed the increase in gender-based violence. Visited Social Welfare Department Sindh and met with Mr. Abdul Waheed Shaikh Secretary Social Welfare. NCHR Member Sindh discussed the work of Pakistan Mental Association work and appreciated Mr. Waheed’s work.
