ANNUAL REPORT 2011 Among others Hon'ble Foriegn Minister Dr. Diopu Moni in a Consultative Workshop on "Rights of Migratory workers in Bangladesh " Honorary Member Aroma Dutta Presenting a keynote paper in a consultative workshop on Strategic Plan workshops held in 10 districts across the country to obtain feedback from a wide range of stakeholder groups. More than 1,000 participants attended the workshops which raised awareness about the mandates of the NHRC and its vision for establishing a human rights culture in Bangladesh. The consultative process provided the NHRC with a scope for improving its plan by incorporating the perspectives and opinions of a variety of groups and individuals concerned with human rights. In addition, the process helped to disseminate information about the NHRC’s existence and its mission to promote and protect human rights throughout the country.
