CHAPTER 2 MoU signing ceremony between the Commission and UKM in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (c) Collaboration with Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) The Commission had a meeting with UNISEL on 25 August to propose the implementation of a human rights course in UNISEL. UNISEL was open and welcoming towards the proposal and has suggested an official joint venture. The documents for the joint venture are being prepared and a signing ceremony to mark this collaboration is expected to take place very soon. 3. TRAINING FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT The Commission has been organising human rights programmes for law enforcement groups each year. However, the effectiveness of this has been questioned because of the continuing occurrence of violations.
