Unions or Businesses Employees Associations of Role of CHR’s Offices and Support Mechanisms The GAD Promotion and Advocacy at the national and local level will be performed by the following offices and support mechanism of the CHR: (a) Human Rights Education and Research Office, (b) GAD Regional Focal Officers, and (c) Local Human Rights Action Officers (LHRAOs). Human Rights Education and Research Office (HERO) HERO is tasked to perform the following duties and responsibilities: A. In accordance with RA 10398, coordinate with e. systematic collection and storage of information relevant to the protection and promotion of human rights in the Philippines and make them accessible to the public C. Coordinate with the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) and other international, national, local and international non-government organizations and individuals engaged in formal and non-formal education for the integration of women and people of diverse SOGIEs’ human rights in their curricula and teaching programs and training educators, among others. D. Coordinates, monitors, evaluates and reports in the actual implementation of women and people of CHR Gender Ombud Guidelines
