HUMAN RIGHTS MODULE FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL Implementation steps Activity 1 1. The teacher asks the students to form groups of 2 to 3. 2. The students are instructed to read and understand all the articles provided before looking for the hidden words. 3. They are reminded that each article contains one or two hidden words. To make it easier for the students, the words have been highlighted. 4. The groups are given 20 to 30 minutes to find the hidden words. 5. The groups then exchange their answer sheets with another group’s for checking. 6. The teacher explains the answers and checks the answers of each group. Reflection: 1. At the end of the activity, give the students the opportunity to self-reflect on the hidden words that they have identified. 2. The teacher can share additional information and specific facts regarding human rights.
