The leadership of Komnas HAM for the 2022-2027 period has determined nine strategic issues as part of the efforts to interpret the human rights situation at the national level from a human rights perspective. These nine strategic issues are the navigation direction for Komnas HAM RI for the next five years. These nine strategic issues are then faced with the dynamics of new human rights challenges throughout 2023. The development of strategies, programs, and activities for the Commission throughout 2023 are: (1) translating the nine strategic issues into practice; and (2) making efforts to understand the dynamics of human rights issues throughout 2023. The eleven dimensions of new human rights challenges throughout 2023 are then used as a perspective for all strategies, programs and activities of Komnas HAM. The relationship between the interpretation of Komnas HAM mandate with the global human rights situation and the Indonesian national human rights situation throughout 2023 can be seen in the illustration below.
