3.3) Recommendations on the right to education, namely, to study the
problem of inaccessibility to education the basics of the school-age population and there are
measures to solve the problem of students dropping out of school to support the Continuing

3.4) Recommendations on community rights in natural resource and
environmental management, namely amend or amend existing laws to ensure community
rights in the management, maintenance, and real utilization of natural resources and the
environment Cabinet Resolution on 3 August 2010 on Policy Guidelines for Restoring the
Karen Lifestyle and Cabinet Resolution on 2 June 2010 on Restoring the Villager Way of Life
to be under the objectives and intent of protecting ethnic groups seriously concerning the
participation of individuals and communities affected by government or government-approved
programs.
Results/Achievements:
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment did not object to the overall
recommendation but was not informed of the results of the recommendations.
3.5) Recommendations on business and human rights, namely to expedite
all agencies with duties to seriously implement the National Action Plan on Business and
Human Rights within the specified timeframe to publicize action plan and guiding principles by
expanding the target group to various types of business sectors more broadly to provide a
guideline to create incentives for business organizations that have adopted the guiding
principles to be used in business operations.
Results/Achievements:
For National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights, the Ministry of Justice
has periodically held meetings to drive the Action Plan. The Action Plan last year met with the
executives and relevant officers to discuss and understand the essence and roles of the
agencies under the Action Plan to prepare a course on business processes and human rights.
