Anger Management (Charade Game) Purpose: To help raise awareness about anger issues, how to assess and manage it by creating a playful environment. Materials: Cartolina strips, pentel pen, masking tape Minutes: 30 minutes Instruction: Create a 4–8-member group. Each group will be given 15 cartolina strips. The player 1 shall make gestures and hints about the word written (associated with anger management) in the cartolina strip (placed on the player 2’s forehead). The player 2 will now guess the word. Let the player 2 know if he’s getting warmer or colder through the mime. Let them know when they get it right. The winners for each group will now play the final round with the same procedures until only 1 winner will be left. The champion will then get a prize. Wrath, fury, rage – whatever you call it, anger is a powerful emotion. Unfortunately, it is often an unhelpful one. Anger is a natural human emotion, and sometimes there are valid reasons to get mad like feeling hurt by something someone said or did or experiencing frustration over a situation at work or home. But, uncontrolled anger can be problematic for your personal relationships and for your health. 23
