AWARENESS AND ADVOCACY              Celebration of International Human Rights Day on 10th December 2021 at the Regional Office, Quetta with the support of European Union. Celebration of World Human Rights Day with Water, Environmental and Sanitation Society (WESS) supported by German Cooperation. Celebration of 16 Days of Activism on 30th November at Urban Cohesion Center of GIZ. NCHR Balochistan and Nation Commission for Peace and Justice (NCJP) conducted a seminar on 7th December 2022 at NCHR Balochistan Regional Office Quetta regarding 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Celebration of International Day of Person with Disabilities with Breaking Barrier Women on 3rd December at Serena Hotel Quetta. Celebration of International Children’s Day with Drugs & Narcotics Educational Services for Humanity (DANESH) supported by UNICEF on 23rd November 2022. Conducted press conference on hazards of early marriage in Quetta Press Club with National Commission for Peace and Justice (NCPJ). Campaigned regarding induction of lady Police Constable in Balochistan Police during their recruitment process. Started campaign to “Uplift of Minorities in Balochistan” for the protection and promotion of the rights of minorities in Balochistan. Started campaign for transgender persons for skill trainings. Collaborated with Balochistan Judicial Academy as a permanent resource person for their sensitisation trainings on Human Rights & Gender Mainstreaming. Member Balochistan is a permanent resource person with UN Women Balochistan Office for their trainings and consultations on Human Rights & Gender Mainstreaming. NCHR Balochistan was involved in several events to commemorate International Human Rights Day 2022 in collaboration with organisations like UNDP Balochistan, Boy Scouts Balochistan, Mercy Corps, Aurat Foundation, and the Educational and Youth Empowerment Society (YES) CHILD RIGHTS    Attended Consultation with government officials on the implementation of child related laws in Balochistan. Member Balochistan visited Child Protection Unit Quetta and held a meeting with Mr. Abul Hassan, incharge of the unit on 18th May 2022. A comprehensive presentation was shared in order to introduce the various functions of CPU prevalent for the protection of child rights. Member Balochistan paid a visit on 18th June to SOS Children’s Village, Quetta. Chairperson SOS Children’s Village Ms. Roshan Barocha welcomed the guests. 73
