A participant suggested that training programmes on special education which are provided for teachers in government schools are extended to teachers in private institutions and vice versa. Children in Rural Area 52. Accessibility to special education programmes in schools for rural children with learning disabilities is limited, if at all. A participant from the State Education Department suggested that, at the very least, a special education teacher should be stationed in rural schools to assist the children with learning disabilities. 85
