Later, Komnas HAM RI organized Human Rights Friendly Schools (SRHAM - Sekolah Ramah HAM) with Human Friendly Religious Education Units. The aim of this activity is to increase human rights capacity on the issue of freedom of religion and belief. The training is aimed at the civil apparatus of the country at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag RI), the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkumham RI), and the Coordinating Ministry of Human Development and Culture of RI (Kemenko PMK RI) and counseling to several schools. In the same context, Komnas HAM RI cooperated with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology of RI (Kemendikbudristek RI) to organize a Human Rights Friendly School (SRHAM). The purpose of implementing SRHAM is to tackle violence in the world of education. The cooperation was followed up through a Cooperation Agreement on August 3, 2023 at the Ministry of Religious Affairs Office and October 12, 2023 at Building A of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In addition, “Workshop on Human Rights Violations in Schools: The Root of the Problem and its Solution” was held in Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Furthermore, in relation to the efforts to anticipate the 2024 elections, Komnas HAM RI organized a Focused Group Discussion with the West Java Police with the theme “Human Rights Protection Perspectives in Organizing the 2024 Election” on May 30, 2023. This Focused Group Discussion was attended by representatives from West Java Regional Police and representatives from KPU of both provinces and the districts of West Java Province. Meanwhile, with regard to efforts to increase the capacity of business and human rights issues, Komnas HAM RI: (1) drew up a Business and Human Rights Training Module; (2) organized trainings; (3) discussed the relevance between business and human rights; and (4) attended the Business and Human Rights Conference in Geneva. In addition, Komnas HAM RI organizes Inspiration Classes to strengthen efforts to integrate business and human rights issues. This inspiring class aims to share knowledge about the implementation of human rights in business groups. This inspirational class is attended by representatives from business associations, civil society organizations, and governments (ministries/ agencies). C. Utilization of Social Media as a Human Rights Campaign Tool Komnas HAM RI has utilized social media to expand human rights discourse. The use of social media as a human rights campaign tool is an attempt to provide literacy for the public. The human rights campaign is designed in conjunction with the momentum of commemorating important events with a human rights dimension.
