Even though there have been efforts to non-judicially handle 12 cases of gross human rights violations, Komnas HAM RI consistently reminds that there are still a number of cases of gross human rights violations that have been investigated by Komnas HAM RI whose victims have not received their rights. Victims who have not received their rights in- Based on lessons learned from fulfilling victims’ rights in the provinces of Aceh, DKI Jakarta and Central Sulawesi, the Commission recommends that the Government take the following steps: 1. Extension of the PKPHAM Team to coordinate the implementation of recommendations for non-judicial resolution of gross human rights violations so that they can run well and on target; 2. The PKPHAM team needs to develop a public communication mechanism with victims and companions of victims of gross human rights violations in order for the information to be more easily accessible; 3. Ministries/agencies and regional governments tasked with Presidential Instruction Number 2 of 2023 need to prepare a special nomenclature for victims of gross human rights violations. This special nomenclature is different from existing nomenclature, such as social assistance, recipients of contribution assistance, government assistance; 4.
