The Japanese military ‘comfort women’ system clearly violated the human rights through the sexual slavery of Asian people during the World War II under the Japanese imperialism. Moreover, the Wednesday Demonstration is a social movement that holds Japanese imperialism responsible for the crimes against humanity, which is unprecedented worldwide. It is the longest demonstration in the world, having been continued for over 30 years since January 1992. Protecting this longest demonstration that seeks justice and truth and demands responsibility for injustices corresponds with the basic principles of human rights.
