University of Technology was commissioned to independently carry out the work to address the research questions. We hope that the findings of this research improve our understanding of those households who, although in employment, are still struggling. We also hope that this increased understanding of this group can inform the development of policies to improve the wellbeing of those that are working but remain in poverty.
