There is also a limited and uneven capacity of health service providers to handle women with disabilities. from doing so—an affront to their autonomy and self-determination. WWDs also suffer the same economic, socio-cultural, and political barriers to RH access experienced by many Filipino women, especially those in poverty and in geographically inaccessible and disadvantaged areas (GIDA) or other situations of vulnerability.
