According to the order of the authority, he was working to sort out electricity line. And during work, he was electrified and had to cut his two legs and right hand. He complained that indifferent attitude of the authority and devaluation of the staff caused the accident. The contractor company did not bear any treatment cost for him. Even they did not pay his salary. In response to the letter sent from NHRC, the Rural Electrification Board reported that according to the NHRC’s instruction they have enacted a guideline to provide compensation to such victims.
