Prize Giving Ceremony of Essay and Quiz Competition 2020 Winners and officials of district administration were present at prize giving ceremony of essay and quiz competition 2020 This year the prize giving ceremony titled “Bangabandhu and Human Rights” 2020 was held on 30 January 2021. Hon’ble Speaker of Bangladesh Parliament Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury graced the program as the Chief Guest. Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Law, Justice and Parlamentary Affairs graced the program as the Special Guest. NHRCB Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc presided over the program. NHRCB Full Time Member Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed also spoke at the event. NHRCB organized the event on the occasion of birth centenary of our Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Students from class 09-12 participated at the 68 competition online due to covid situation. NHRCB publicized a documentary in electronic media and advertisement in print media. NHRCB Chairman held meeting with Divisional Commissioners time and again and gave them instructions for organizing the program. More than 52000 students participated at the competition. Selected 100 winners took part in online quiz competition. NHRCB Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc, the then DG of Bangla Academy late Habibullah Siraji, Novelist Selina Hossain, writer Anisul Hoque and NHRCB Secretary Narayan Chandra Sarkar played the role of judges in that competition.
