Complaint No- Dha- 80/21 Mr. 'A' Complained that the home in which he resided had the electricity connection and the connection located in such a way that any time there might cause accident. He informed this to the house owner and manager but they were reluctant to take any action. As a result, his son, 11 years old child got electric shock from that dangerous 56 electricity line and got serious injury. The child became disabled. The home owner gave 12000 BDT only for treatment purpose as per instruction from NHRC, DPDC investigated the matter and found that the electricity connection was so close to that home that it was in a very risky position They provided 1,50,000 BDT as compensation to the victim.
