• Advocacy on establishing rights of the ethnic & religious minorities (focusing on Land Rights, Discrimination etc.) • Advocacy on establishing rights of ethnic minorities of CHTs and plain land areas (focusing on Land Rights, Discrimination etc.) • Advocacy on Rohingya Issue • Advocacy on addressing Terrorism and Extremism • Advocacy on addressing Drug Addiction, Drug Trade/ Trafficking etc. • Advocacy on addressing Migrant Workers’ Rights • Advocacy on addressing violence by LEAs (Torture, Custodial Torture etc.) • Advocacy on addressing Climate Change, man-made and natural disasters affecting human rights • Advocacy on addressing Business and Human Rights (occupational safety, workers’ rights, Trade Union Rights etc.) • Advocacy on establishing rights of the Elderly People • Advocacy on establishing Rights of Freedom of Expression • Forming Human Rights Protection Club which will include student cabinet of secondary and higher secondary level in all upazilla and representatives of Anti-Corruption Commission’s “Satata Sangha” with the aim of raising humanitarian values from grass-root level to the centre. Members of this club will work as human rights ambassadors. 1.4 Thematic Committee The visionary goal of the National Human Rights Commission is to establish a broad-based human rights culture in the country; and to reach that goal NHRCB’s agenda necessarily become many.
