We are happy that the authorities have already implemented our recommendations sent on the cases of attack in Majhipara, Rangpur and human rights violation in Choto Moni Nibash, Sylhet and Rehabilitation Center for Socially Disabled in Khadim Nagar. NHRCB is following up with the authorities for proper implementation of the recommendations sent on other cases. In 2021, complaints including that of previous years were 1271 and 972 were disposed among them. In 2021, among 299 pending complaints, there are 02 of 2012, 07 of 2013, 07 of 2014, 04 of 2015, 07 of 2016, 13 of 2017, 22 of 2018, 35 of 2019, 38 of 2020, 164 of 2021. NHRC delegation led by the Hon'ble Chairman inspected 18 central jails of Sylhet, Sunamganj and Mymensingh and sent recommendations to the government. As per the recommendations the Social Service Division of Ministry of Home Affairs had taken a number of initiatives.
