The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka would like to appreciate and thank the United Nation’s
Population Fund (UNFPA) for establishing a partnership with the Commission to work a Training
Guide, on furthering the protection of the rights of Women and girl child. Furthermore, the Commission
extends its sincere gratitude towards Mr.Alain Sibenaler, Representative – UNFPA and Ms. Nirosha
Welgama, former National Programme Analyst – Gender, who coordinated with the Commission and
other members of staff of UNFPA Sri Lanka for the contribution made by them to make this effort a
success.
