international convention in particular, in addition to other issues related to discrimination and inequality in general. 2.6 By operation of the NIHR role regarding receiving complaints, providing legal assistance and 22 monitoring cases, specifically with regard to racial discrimination and inequality, from the establishment of the NIHR until 2021, it received (6) allegations of racial discrimination, two of which were classified as a complaint; one in 2013 and the other in 2018. (3) of those allegations were related to legal assistance, two of which were submitted in 2017 and the other in 2018. It is noted that in 2019, NIHR did not receive any complaints or requests for legal assistance related to racial discrimination. However, in 2020, NIHR received an allegation of racial discrimination and was classified as legal assistance and one case was monitored. In 2020, it received one legal assistance case and one monitoring case. In 2021, NIHR did not receive any complaints, legal assistance requests, or event monitoring cases related to racial discrimination.
