Article 31 The public rights and freedoms stated in the present Constitution may only be regulated or limited by or in accordance with the law, and such regulation or limitation may not prejudice the essence of the right or freedom. Chapter IV Public Authorities General Provisions Article 32 a. The system of Government rests on a separation of the legislative, executive and judicial authorities while maintaining cooperation between them in accordance with the provisions of the present Constitution. None of the three authorities may assign all or part of its competence stated in the present Constitution. However, limited legislative delegation for a particular period and specific subject(s) is permissible, whereupon the power shall be exercised in accordance with the provisions of the Delegation Law. b. Legislative authority is vested in the King and the National Assembly in accordance with the Constitution. Executive authority is vested in the King together with the Council of Ministers and Ministers, and judicial rulings are issued in his name, the whole being in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution. Section 1 The King Article 33 a. The King is the Head of the State, and supreme representative of the Nation, and his person is inviolate. He is the loyal protector of the religion and the homeland, and the symbol of national unity. b. The King safeguards the legitimacy of the Government and the supremacy of the constitution and the law, and cares for the rights and freedoms of individuals and organisations. 16
