The above table shows the lack of environmental facilities suitable to serve persons with disabilities in the institutions concerned, both in the private and public sectors. Paragraph (3) indicates the lack of elevators that are equipped with audio system and Braille method on the keys in the institutions with a percentage of 5.9%, followed by paragraph number (6) which indicates the lack of signs in Braille method and in forms and drawings easy to understand in the institution, both in the public and private sectors, with a percentage of 10.2%. Moreover, the table shows that the lowest percentage was for paragraph (1) about the absence of obstacles in the ways and corridors that serve persons with disabilities in institutions. This indicates a high degree of violation for this right of the rights of persons with disabilities, with a large percentage of 59.3%. These negative results are an outcome of not abiding by the law on Jordanian constructions code and the absence of follow-up by the official entities concerned because of the lack of periodic inspections on the constructions, in addition to the misunderstanding of the relevant authorities of the process of adapting the environment in terms of time and place, which does not require expensive and high financial costs, if no costs at all in some cases. In this connection, some observations were recorded, as follows: 1. Some cases of violation were monitored, in which students with disabilities were denied the right to study and/ or complete their studies due to the presence of environmental obstacles. 2.
