 Member Sindh was invited as a guest speaker to an event organized by Legal Aid Society (LAS) on the subject of Women Rights to Legal Property, "Closing the Gap between Laws, Policy and Practice on Women Right to Property" at the Ombudsman Office Pakistan Secretariat. MINORITY RIGHTS              Member Sindh was invited by the Sindh Human Rights Commission on the subject of amendments in two important Bills passed by the Sindh Government (Minorities Bill and Victim Relief Bill). Coordinator Sindh attended a meeting organised by The Knowledge Forum (TKF) on the subject of interfaith harmony. Meeting with the NCJP team on religious harmony. Meeting with Marvari community leaders on minority issues including marriage registration and land issues. Meeting with The Knowledge Forum (TKF) on a media campaign for religious harmony. Meeting with the Ministry of Human Education & Higher Education Commission Clifton on the subject of Single National Curriculum for Hindu Community. Participated in a meeting organised by the Minority Affairs Department and The Knowledge Forum titled, ‘Minority Rights in Sindh: Issues, Challenges and Opportunities’. Sindh Coordinator invited to an event regarding “Provincial Stakeholders Consultation on Minority Rights” by the NCJP. Families of missing persons visited the NCHR Regional Office Sindh and met with NCHR Member Sindh on the subject of recently abducted members of the Shia community across Pakistan. Ms. Seema Maheshwary, human rights activist, and Ms. Shahid Mangi from Takhleeq Foundation visited the NCHR Regional Office Sindh to discuss transgender issues. Sindh Coordinator led a meeting with Mr. Marveen Farukh, Head of CWS, on the subject of minority discrimination and gender-based discrimination in relief camps. Member Sindh and Coordinator attended a meeting with the transgender community on Friday, and discussed transgender rights, hate speech, and misinformation on social media regarding the Transgender Act, 2018.
