       Minority Office had a meeting with SPARC CEO, Ms. Asiya to discuss issues faced by street children in Islamabad. Member Minority was invited by Lift free school as a chief guest to inaugurate a school for underprivileged Christian children of Hansa Colony G-8, Islamabad. Meeting with Parliamentary Secretary for Human Rights, MNA Syeda Nousheen Iftikhar to apprise her of the work that NCHR is doing in resolving cases of human rights violation and in knowledge production. Meeting with Fr. Sylvester Joseph Priest, to discuss the issue of child abuse and forced conversions. Meeting with CEO Lift organisation. Meeting with the pastor of Prayer Tower Church to get suitable place to open a school for under privileged children of Christian Colony. Attended NCRC Board meetings as member. MINORITY RIGHTS               Attended Christmas celebration as a chief guest, organised by Youth Development Association. Attended Christmas celebrations as the chief guest, organised by Pakistan Christian Welfare Society Islamabad. Attended Interfaith Harmony Program at St. Paul’s Church Saddar, Rawalpindi. Celebrated Christmas at NCHR Head Office with its staff members and representatives of the Christian community. NCHR team visited Sialkot, regarding the lynching and murder of Sri Lankan national manager. NCHR followed the case closely till conviction of the 84 persons involved in the heinous murder. Visited Shiv Mandir Rawalpindi to assess the problems and plights of the Hindu community. Meeting with Christian community leaders to discuss the issues of the Christian community. Meeting with MNA Mr. Jamshed Thomas to discuss affairs on minorities. Visited Shahbaz Masih’s home to interview him regarding the death of his father, a sanitary worker who died in the sewers during duty. Participated as keynote speaker at NCRC’s policy brief on forced conversion in Pakistan. Celebrated Holi with Hindu community at Karishna Mandir Rawalpindi. Meeting with his Excellency Cardinal Archbishop Joseph Courts, RT Rev-Alexander John Malik RT Rev Bishop Samuel Azraiya regarding issues of religious minorities. Minority Office, along with Lift Islamabad, inaugurated a school for children belonging to the Christian community of G8. Minority Office participated in an event to celebrate Eid-e-Rizwan, a religious event of Baháʼí community, hosted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. 47
