Post Election Period  Keeping 'Vigilance Teams' always alert and active in vulnerable constituencies so that they can immediately prevent any attempt to create violent and intimidating situation.  Keeping the 'Vigilance Team' or 'Rapid Response Team' operational to maintain normal and peaceful law and order situation in the district for at least one month after the elections.  Arrangement of special vigilance through 'Vigilance Team' in areas inhabited by ethnic and religious minorities to ensure that no violence, harassment or intimidation occurs there.  To be proactive in taking appropriate electronic legal measures to deal with any kind of adverse situation. 6. Law Enforcement Agencies Law enforcement agencies can take following special measures for human rights and civil rights protection during elections: Election Stage Pre Election Period Election Period Post Election Effective Measures  To arrange special vigilance of law and order in electoral areas.  Monitoring the activities of potential candidates and their supporters in elections and taking immediate action in any violent incident.  To ensure the overall public security of the constituency and contribute to the creation of a peaceful and trusting environment.  To make their institutional capacity, firmness and neutral behavior visible in the election law and order meeting (district and upazila level) in maintaining law and order.  Regular communication with local administration and electoral authorities.  Taking effective and timely measures to ensure public safety, especially voter safety.  Taking special security measures in exercising voting rights of voters belonging to ethnic and religious minorities.  Always prepared to face any kind of violence and unexpected situations.  Taking special security measures in areas inhabited by ethnic and religious minorities.  In case of any violent activity or creating a tense situation, taking prompt legal action through immediate information search.
