HUMAN RIGHTS MODULE FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL Instructions: 1. The teacher instructs the students to discuss and answer the questions provided. 2. The time allocated is 40 minutes. 3. The time allocated for the class discussion is 20 minutes. 4. The teacher summarises the importance of understanding human rights and human dignity as well as practising them in the students’ daily lives. 5. The teacher prepares picture cuttings glued onto manila card. 6. Examples of pictures are: child abuse, religious ceremonies, cultural celebrations, bus and train stations and airports, senior citizens, etc. Reflection The teacher asks the students to give their reflections on the activity. He/She must take into consideration the sensitivities of the students.
