The NIHR paid great attention to receiving and studying all kinds of complaints related to human rights, referring what it deems to be referred to the competent authorities, with effective follow-up on its part; or informing the concerned parties of the procedures to be followed, assisting in taking these procedures, or helping with the concerned authorities in settling them. In the year 2020, the NIHR dealt with (53) complaints that varied from rights alleged to have been violated and claims of more than one right being violated. The total number of allegations of rights not applied amounted to (60) allegations in the year 2020. 8. Complaints relating to civic and political rights totaled (25), of which (21) complaints related to the right of physical and moral safety, one about fair trial guarantees, and four complaints concerning the right to freedom and personal security. 9.
