C. CHR Lawyers, Investigators, and Trainors/Education Officer
Lawyers and Investigators play an important role in the performance of the Commission’s
Protection work -- from investigation up to the resolution of cases. As of the end of 2020,
103 lawyer positions were filled up, while 42 of them are vacant. On the other hand,
CHR’s 151 investigators are widely spread across the country, while 52 positions remain
vacant.
Trainors/Education Officers are responsible for increasing the public’s awareness on
Human Rights through training and information campaigns. Moreover, they are tasked to
develop and disseminate IEC materials to promote knowledge.
