For all media outfits, to be conscious of their role in changing attitudes that perpetuate discrimination against women and to ensure that the content of their reports and shows do not perpetuate discrimination and VAW; 6. For the Movie, Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB), to actively pursue its mandate of promoting and protecting vulnerable sectors in the context of media and entertainment particularly in the area of women’s human rights. The MTRCB is encouraged to be conscious of its role in contributing to changing of attitudes and in calling out derogatory portrayal of women in media; 7.
