︱Road to Migrant Fishers’ Rights On November 27, 2020, NHRC Chairperson Chen Chu and other commissioners inspected the Taiwan Seamen and Fishermen’s Service Center in Kaohsiung. They were accompanied by the Deputy Minister of the Council of Agriculture, Chen Tian-shou, as well as officials from the Fisheries Agency and Kaohsiung City Marine Bureau (KCMB). During the visit, the Pastor of the Presbyterian Church (PCT), Joshua Chen briefed the officials on the Center’s efforts to protect the rights of foreign fishermen.
