The Fourth Chapter of the report deals with the NIHR’s efforts and activities in the field of protecting and promoting human rights. The Fifth and Final Chapter reviews the advisory opinions submitted by the NIHR to the constitutional authorities. The NIHR emphasizes that this report is a tool to improve the human rights situation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in a manner consistent with the Kingdom’s obligations arising from its accession to international and regional human rights instruments, or those obligations related to the Universal Periodic Review through the Working Group of the Human Rights Council.
