4.5 Research & Publication In 2018, NHRCB conducted 03 research publications. Among the other publications Newsletter on Highlighting NHRCB’s Intervention on Rohingya Crisis; Special Bulletin on Human Rights Day 2018 and brochures are remarkable. 4.6 NHRC & ICT NHRC call center has been introduced this year to provide citizens with necessary information on NHRC’s service delivery system. Anyone can dial to call center of the Commission from anywhere and receive information about Human Rights, NHRC & Complaints mechanism of NHRC. Call Center works during daily working hours, where anybody can make calls to 16108(Helpline)/ 09612316108(abroad) and can lodge their complaints. The grievance is forwarded to the complaint and inquiry department for needful action. Call Center has a Complaint Management System where our operators take inputs from the complainants over the phone and store into the Database. A tracking number is produced to track the status of the complaint immediately and complainants get acknowledged by call center operators. Complainants who lodge complaints through call center can check the status of their complaints anytime from anywhere through Commission’s website. Beside this, our call center solutions have call recording system. As a result, after working hour any dialer can record his/her inquiries/questions /complaints and we hear those recordings carefully in working hours and take necessary actions if required. NHRCB has introduced various social media activities on top social media sites (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Google plus etc.). This year we have got twenty thousand plus follower in our official Facebook account. While video is currently the most engaging form of digital content, we have created digital stories to share our activities and raise public awareness. Annual Report-2018 36
