Preliminary Part I Section 10 (a) (b) (c) (d) between Australia and a place outside Australia; among the States; between a State and a Territory; or between 2 Territories. (18) The prescribed provisions of Division 3 of Part II have effect in relation to acts done in the course of, or in relation to, trade or commerce: (a) between Australia and a place outside Australia; (b) among the States; (c) between a State and a Territory; or (d) between 2 Territories. (19) The prescribed provisions of Part II have effect in relation to discrimination within Australia involving persons or things, or matters arising, outside Australia. (20) The prescribed provisions of Division 3 of Part II have effect in relation to acts done within Australia involving persons or things, or matters arising, outside Australia. (21) The prescribed provisions of Division 3 of Part II have effect in relation to acts done using a postal, telegraphic, telephonic or other like service (within the meaning of paragraph 51(v) of the Constitution). 10 Operation of State and Territory laws (1) A reference in this section to this Act is a reference to this Act as it has effect by virtue of any of the provisions of section 9 other than subsection 9(10).
