Lastly, at present human rights violations are occurring due to impatient and immoral practices resulting from the demise of ethical values in family and society. In 2019, Human Rights Day theme was “Youth Standing for Human Rights”. Since the establishment of NHRC, this year for the very first time Hon’ble Prime Minister had attended the human rights day program as the Chief Guest. She called on everyone including youths to work together for the protection and promotion of human rights uttering strongly “We Protect Human Rights”. Commission is working to fulfill this goal. NHRC will create human rights protection club in all upazilla level which will incorporate students of class 09 & 10 selected for student cabinet. These students will be trained on human rights and will be the ambassador for raising awareness on human rights. I believe, we will be able to introduce Bangladesh as humane country along with developed one by working together for raising awareness on human rights protection and creating ethical values from root to the center and by spontaneous particiaption of youths in human rights protection as well. Hey Brother! we all have the right to freedom of expression But none of us own the right to hurt difference of opinion Human rights is equal for all-let's pronounce it in union Society is at stake when ethical values are on the wane In the family, the foundation of the ways of life is laid down We need to say 'No' to drug, terrorism and corruption Let's uphold the values of family life, o my brethren Human rights is equal for all- let's pronounce it in union.
