It is important to mention that though the report on the SDGs is presented briefly, in fact, the 2020 Annual Report of the National Commission on Human Rights is full of the SDGs nuances. Although the 2020 Annual Report of the National Commission on Human Rights has not been explicitly stated and clearly linked to the SDGs, the implementation of Komnas HAM’s authority based on statutory regulations and international instruments is closely related to the SDGs in all goals.12 Komnas HAM’s 2020-2024 seven strategic issues are also relevant for the 13 SDGs. The relevance of the seven strategic issues of Komnas HAM and the SDGs was stated by Mimin Dwi Hartono (Acting Head of Advancement Support of Human Rights Bureau of the National Commission on Human Rights) as follows: agrarian conflicts (Goals 1-3, 6-7, 9, and 11-17), apparatus and citizen violence (Goals 5, 10, and 16-17), gross human rights violations (Goals 10 and 16-17), access to justice (Goals 5 and 16-17), freedom of opinion, expression, and assembly (Goals 4-5, 10, and 16-17), intolerance and extremism (Goals 4-5, 10, and 16-17), and institutional arrangements (Goals 16-17).14 In the SDGs reporting presented in the 2020 Annual Report of the National Commission on Human Rights, there are a number of interesting evaluations from Komnas HAM.
