Timing Activity 10 minutes Clustering In groups of 2 or 3, participants: •S  hare their ideas with each other. •G  roup similar ideas together. •S  elect their top two vision ideas and top two purpose statement ideas to bring forward 7 minutes Collating Ideas On a large board or wall, create two columns: VISION and PURPOSE STATEMENT Each small group posts their sticky notes in the relevant column. Facilitator reads out examples. Group highlights together emerging themes 3 minutes Wrap-up Summarise the key themes that emerged for both the vision and purpose statement. Explain how participants’ input will feed into drafting the gender strategy’s vision and purpose statements. If there is more than one focus group, they will be collated with other group results.
