2.1 Form focus groups to draft your Strategic Framework While the GSDT leads and coordinates the development of the Strategic Framework, key stakeholders should also be involved in deciding its main elements. In larger NHRIs, involving all staff directly may not be practical, so it is useful to identify representatives from different areas and levels of the organisation, including people with gender expertise and lived experience of gender issues. These representatives contribute their own perspectives while also helping communicate between their teams and the strategy development process. Focus groups are a useful way to support this work. They provide a structured space to discuss ideas, test whether proposed priorities are realistic and relevant, identify potential challenges, and build broader ownership and support for the strategy across the NHRI.
