Finally, Part C of the recommendations suggest the following measures to promote housing related human rights: Recommendation C1: The Government should extend an invitation to the UN Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing to visit the Philippines Recommendation C2: The Government should implement a human rights-based training and education programme on housing law and regulation Recommendation C3: The Government should commission an independent national human rights Inquiry on housing, evictions and resettlement Recommendation C4: The Government should consider including the findings of this review in any official submissions to United Nations human rights treaty-monitoring bodies and other such procedures, including the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights and Universal Period Review of the Human Rights Council xiii
