HUMAN RIGHTS MODULE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL Implementation steps 1. The students are divided into small groups of 2 or 3. 2. The students are instructed to fill the empty boxes in the word puzzle. Each group is given 5 chances or a lifeline to ask other groups for the answer to a question. However, the 5 questions must be asked to 5 different groups (the students are not allowed to ask to only one group). 3. Each group is given 20 to 30 minutes to complete the word puzzle. 4. The groups exchange their puzzle sheets to check their answers. Discussion/Presentation 5. At the end of the activity, the students are given the opportunity to provide their selfreflection on the word puzzle they have completed. Conclusion 6. The teacher concludes the day’s lesson by stressing the rights of the child as well as human rights learned from the lesson. 7. The teacher also needs to apply the values learned from the lesson. 8. The teacher can share additional information and specific facts concerning human rights. 46
