NHRCB Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc urged international community to resolve the Rohingya crisis and act together for safe and peaceful repatriation of Rohingyas to Myanmar, in the 3rd session of the Forum on Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law organized by OHCHR held on 16-17 November 2021. She also talked about the National Inquiry against VAW, legal aid and other initiatives of NHRCB. Seminar on “Strengthening the United Nations’ victim-centred response to sexual exploitation and abuse through partnerships with national human rights institutions – challenges and opportunities” Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) organized a virtual meeting on NHRC’s Partnership with UN to strengthen victim centered response to sexual exploitation and abuse on 28 October 2021. NHRCB Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc said about activities of first ever formed National Inquiry committee against VAW Particularly rape. Besides, she also mentioned about other initiatives of NHRCB and government to prevent VAW. 26th Annual General Meeting of Asia Pacific Forum Participants at 26th Annual General Meeting of Asia Pacific Forum (APF) This meeting was held on 15 September 2021 online. NHRCB Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc, Full Time Member Dr. Kamal Uddin Ahmed, Member Jesmin Ara Begum attended the meeting. The participants appraised the initiative of NHRCB regarding National Inquiry Committee. NHRCB Chairman called on international community to come forward to resolve Rohingya crisis.
