Students held dialogue with NHRCB Chairman Students of University Laboratory School under the University of Dhaka held dialogue with NHRCB Chairman on 14th November 2021. Hon’ble Chairman Nasima Begum, ndc participated in the dialogue and answered the questions raised by the students. NHRCB and HRP-UNDP with support from Centre for Men and Masculinities Studies have conducted “Bravemen Campaign” in more than hundred schools in Bangladesh. This dialogue was a part of that initiative. Also as a part of this, online human rights course have been launched. This course is intended for school students and the dialogue was organized for ensuring their opportunity to ask question on human rights. Principal of ULAB School Selina Akter, Adviser of CMMS and Professor of Dept. of Women and Gender Studies Dr. Syed Shaikh Imtiaz and HRP-UNDP Gender Expert Ms. Bithika Hasan attended the dialogue. Students wanted to Know about the rights of street children, hijra, women and all other marginalized people. NHRCB Chairman answered their questions and discussed the initiatives taken by NHRCB, government and non-government organizations.
