Sylhet, Sunamganj and Mymensingh Jail visit led by hon’ble Chairman Visit to Sylhet Jail NHRC delegation led by the Hon'ble Chairman inspected central jails of Sylhet, Sunamganj and Mymensingh and sent recommendations to the government. As per the recommendations the Social Service Division of Ministry of Home Affairs had taken a number of initiatives including sending the name list of the prisoners who had crossed the punishment period to the ministry; introducing mobile phones for communication purpose in these jails; sending letter to jail authority for filing up the vacant posts and arranging Dope Test for the prisoners.
