To the credit of the national government as a whole, the Second National Human Rights Action Plan, anchored ‘on ‘the various human rights treaties to which the Philippines is state party, is in the process of validation. ‘Commission. as well as many non-government organizations, has been part of the drafting process. The ‘WAY FORWARD, FOLLOW UP Follow up of the concluding observations and recommendations of treaty bodies, will mainly consist of the periodic convening of the GO- NGO Forum and other activities which will be used as a platform for constructive ‘dialogues and action at the national and regional levels to thresh out issues and remind goverment of its role to implement the Committee's recommendations.
