NATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION 2.41 The Commission disposed off 15,364 cases with directions to the appropriate authorities for remedial measures during 2017-2018. The state wise break up of these cases is furnished in the chart below:Cases ‘Disposed of with Directions’ (DWD) by NHRC during 2017-2018 2.42 21,652 cases were transferred to the State Human Rights Commission (SHRCs) for disposal in accordance with the provision of PHRA.
