Meetings were held regarding the juvenile prisoners; NCHR’s team interviewed all juvenile inmates and obtained details of their cases to discuss with the Chief Justice of Balochistan. This was followed up with a meeting with the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court to discuss the implementation of JJSA 2018 and the speedy disposal of cases. Member Balochistan brought gifts for inmates on multiple occasions including clothes for female prisoners and essential items for the new-borns in jail. Member Balochistan also made a personal donation to purchase computers to establish a computer lab for skills trainings for the children. DAR-UL-AMAAN VISITS Member Balochistan and team visited the Dar-ul-Aman and Social Welfare Directorate Brewery Road, Quetta, on December 13, 2021. Interviews were conducted with occupants and recommendations were made for improvement of services and facilities. Member Balochistan visited Dar-ul-Aman, Quetta on the 14th of June where she met with its occupants. A meeting with Superintendent Dar-ul-Aman Ms. Shagufta was held where the overall condition of inmates and facilities being provided to them were discussed. Renovations and 70
